February 19, 1947 Harold Hall opened a floor covering business with his wife Alyce Hall in Charlotte, North Carolina. The business was located originally on Providence Road. Handling everything from rugs to shades the company began to thrive in the growing Charlotte area.

As the Company continued to grow and expand, the location changed several times until the company found its current location on Monroe Road. The inventory also changed over the years to concentrate on floor covering products rather than all interior furnishings. The company now has extensive carpet, rug, vinyl, hardwood, ceramic tile, and other flooring lines.

Hall’s is still family owned and operated today. The business has also been recently expanded to include a location in Mooresville, Hall’s at the Lake.
